The New Britney Spears Album

At long last, Britney Spears is set to release her new album on December 2, 2008.  The album, produced by Spears herself, is on Jive records.  December 2 is also Britney's Birthday.  Circus is Britney's 6th studio album and is thought to be the one to mark her return to stardom after considerable controversy.  The first single is Womanizer (download now!) and was released on October 7, 2008 and debuted at #11 on the Billboard charts.  Since her well documented personal struggles, Britney also released Blackout (download now!), on October 30, 2007.  The album was not heavily promoted yet still reached #2 on the Billboard charts.
