How to buy Britney Spears Tickets:

Your best method to buy Britney Spears tickets will depend on how much time, money, and effort you wish to invest, and on how choosey you are about which seats you sit in.  This page will discuss the most common methods, but is not intended to be absolute.  Each show may have it's own variables and promotional outlets, such as fan club sales, which may vary for each show.

Each venue has a primary sales method.  For many, Ticketmaster serves as the primary seller.  For others, Live Nation handles those duties.  Others use their own independent software to manage sales.  Your best bet is to identify the official website of the venue and use their webpage to identify who handles their ticket sales.
In any case, use the websites of the venue and TicketMaster/Live Nation/other to determine the date and time tickets go on sale.
(Hint: Most venues have an email list.  Subscribing to such lists in advance will likely get the on-sale information emailed to you automatically, and sometimes even pre-sale codes)
Once you have identified when, where, and how tickets will go on sale, clear that time in your schedule.  Almost all of the online box offices (TicketMaster, etc) have a log in feature.  Having your account set up and being logged in ahead of time will save you valuable seconds when they count.
The days of standing in line outside of the venue to get the best seats are over.  The venue will use the same software to pull from the same inventory.  You are far more likely to achieve success by using your own computer.  If you don't have a computer, or have a slow connection, consider using the computers at a Kinko's or other such location.
Before the time of the on-sale, have that page up on your computer and be logged in.  Watch the clock and refresh your browser when the clock changes.  Be careful not to refresh too rapidly, Ticketmaster's site can be sensitive to too much clicking and will block out your computer if you get too carried away.  One refresh every 5-10 seconds until sales open up should leave you successful.  Be familiar with the ordering process before your on-sale, every second counts!

If you are unable to secure the seats you want from the primary source, you may want to contact a ticket broker.  Whether your show is sold out, or you want better seats than you were able to buy from the primary source, a ticket broker specializes in securing those seats for you.  Try TicketsFromTheWeb.com:

Hard tickets for Britney Spears concerts:

You may see notations on certain websites referring to "Hard tickets" or "Hard stock tickets".  These terms indicate that the tickets you are purchasing are the traditional thick paper tickets you are used to seeing, and not "Ticketfast" tickets or "e-tickets".

Ticketfast Tickets for Britney Spears concerts:

You may also see notations indication that your tickets are e-Tickets or Ticketfast Tickets. These are tickets in which the original purchaser selects a delivery option to have the tickets delivered by email in the form of a pdf file.  These tickets contain the same unique barcode as they would if they were delivered as a hard stock ticket, but the original purchaser prints them right from their home computer on a standard sheet of paper.  For more information, see What is TicketFast?
